Queenie Ngo was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States in 1992 with her family. Coming from a low-income family, working her way through college and graduated from San Jose State University in 2001 and Lincoln Law School in 2009, Queenie highly values education, freedom, and integrity. She decided not to practice Law because she wanted to pursue her passion for public service. Prior to joining District 10, Queenie worked for former San Jose District 4 Councilmember Manh Nguyen, Catholic Charities, Mercy Housing, and other Non-profit organizations.
Queenie owns Phu Nu Cali Magazine, a Vietnamese magazine for Vietnamese American women entrepreneurs in the Bay Area. In her spare time, Queenie enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family. Queenie is passionate about advocating for under-privileged individuals and providing them with resources and tools to become self-sufficient.
